WELCOME BACK TO ZUM SCHNEIDER OKTOBERFEST!!!

After a 3 year drought we are excited to satisfy your thirst for the greatest festival in the world imported from Munich to NYC by Zum Schneider once again. On September 30th through October 9th we will open the doors of our beautiful Oktoberfest tent, with the most authentic setting, atmosphere, music, fair and beer, unmatched anywhere in NYC or even the U.S.. Those who’ve experienced it know. First comers will be fans.

Exclusively imported Oktoberfest Bier from ANDECHS, HB TRAUNSTEIN and WEIHENSTEPHAN will be served in 1 liter Steins just like at the Munich Oktoberfest.

Food items include Bratwurst, Giant Pretzels, Obazda cheese spread, the traditional 1/2 roast chicken and pork shank/Haxn and more. (Vegetarian options will be available.)

For the great and energetic atmosphere you’ll be led by the notorious Mösl Franzi and the JaJaJas to clap, sing and dance until no one sits still. The professional Schlierachtaler Schuhplattler dancers will show you how you slap your butt in Lederhosen in traditional Bavarian style, and the fun continues with a game-and photo booth in the Biergarten.

We are very excited to announce the return of an old time Zum Schneider favorite!
ADVENTSINGEN / CHRISTMAS CAROLING .. will happen at

the LIEDERKRANZ CLUB (6 E. 87th st.)
December 5th and 12th from 2-8pm.

Some of you partied there for Halloween a few weeks ago! The wonderful Ballroom on the second floor is ideal for our festive singalong. So time to start practicing your German "Weihnachtslieder" and digging out that ugly Xmas sweater. Glühwein and cookies, delicious food and of course the best Bier under the Christmas tree.

Musically led by Erica Mancini (from the JaJaJas) on Accordion and Grand Piano and Sylvester Schneider on the hammered Dulcimer, we all sing together and experience that magical atmosphere from silent night to the 12 days of Christmas and 5 golden beers
